What is AI CNC machining?
Precision CNC milling and turning planned and run by software. You upload a CAD file, and DFM Compiler reads the geometry, plans the tooling and collision-checked toolpaths, and returns an itemized quote, with no manual CAM programming. The same software runs the job on the floor, so the quote and the production plan always match.
How fast can I get CNC-machined parts?
Parts ship in as little as three days for stocked materials and standard finishes. Your lead time depends on geometry, quantity, material and finish, and it is shown on the quote before you confirm.
What tolerances can Beskar hold?
Down to ±0.005 mm on suitable features, with ±0.008 mm recommended for milled parts. Put critical dimensions and GD&T on the drawing: DFM Compiler reads ISO and ASME call-outs straight from the STEP file.
What materials and finishes are available?
Aluminum, stainless and specialty steels, carbon steels, titanium, copper, brass and engineering plastics. Finishes include anodizing, electroplating, hard chrome, media blasting, polishing, passivation and black oxide. Other grades and finishes can be called out in the quote portal.
Do you handle production orders?
Yes, from single prototypes to production runs of high-mix parts. For production runs or full-BOM projects, talk to sales and we will scope the program with you.
Are Beskar's parts certified?
Parts are made at our certified production partner in the US, which holds AS9100D, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification and Nadcap accreditation, and is ITAR-registered. Every order includes in-process CMM inspection and full traceability.
How does instant quoting work?
DFM Compiler reads your CAD model, recognizes features, tolerances and material, and generates the full process plan: tooling, fixturing and toolpaths. It prices that plan in minutes. The quote is itemized for machining, setup and finishing, so you can change material or quantity and re-quote on the spot.
What CAD file formats do you accept?
STEP (.step or .stp) gives the fastest and most accurate quote. IGES, Parasolid, SolidWorks and most native CAD formats work too. When a part has tight tolerances, threads, or specific finish or inspection call-outs, add a 2D drawing (PDF) alongside the 3D model.
Is my design data secure?
Yes. Files stay on a secure quoting portal, only the team running your job can see them, and Beskar will sign an NDA on request. Your models, drawings and quotes are never shared outside production of your order.
